Bear Stearns meets client requirements in the foreign exchange spot, forward, NDF, EFP and OTC options markets in all major, minor and emerging currencies. We also have the expertise required to tailor OTC options strategies to help clients meet their risk management objectives, including structured product and note transactions.
Bear Stearns makes markets in gold, silver, platinum and palladium for spot, forward, EFP and OTC options. Bear Stearns is also active in commodity swaps, commodity swaptions, deposits and other related precious metals products. We are members of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), London Platinum and Palladium Market (LPPM), the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the New York Commodities Exchange (COMEX) and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).

Research
The Bear Stearns Economics Department publishes both quantitative and fundamental research covering the foreign exchange markets. This includes daily and weekly overviews of the FX markets available to clients via Bloomberg, Reuters, or the Internet. Additionally, The Bear Stearns Equity Research Department studies mining and precious metals companies and issues reports on a regular basis.
