The Bear Stearns Current Yield Fund (AMEX:YYY) is an actively managed, exchange traded fund composed of a variety of short-term fixed income instruments denominated in US dollars. The Fund seeks a higher level of income, while preserving principal, and invests in money market, corporate, securitized and government instruments. An open-end, diversified portfolio of the Bear Stearns Active ETF Trust, YYY is listed on the American Stock Exchange and can be purchased and sold intraday throughout normal trading hours.

The Bear Stearns Current Yield Fund will invest in fixed income instruments, which involve special risks, like interest rate, credit and inflation risks. The Fund may be sensitive to small changes in interest rates, and thus the Fund’s net asset value may be volatile. Bonds and bond funds may decrease in value, especially if interest rates rise.
